heard the truth, Christian Aid Ministries

Hundreds of pastors in Haiti do their best to lead their churches but have received very little sound teaching themselves. That is why pastors and other men come from all over Haiti to hear the truth at CAM’s Biblical Discipleship Center. The lessons they study emphasize things like practical Christian living, marriage, family life, and spiritual warfare.

“We have heard the truth and now we have a responsibility to preach the truth,” said a Haitian pastor who recently attended a three-week seminar. God’s Word took root in his heart and gave him a desire to share what he learned with his home community.

The director of the Biblical Discipleship Center in Haiti wrote, “We are able to pray with each other about wayward children, financial struggles, sins that need to be confessed, and other burdens. When the Bible is opened, it softens our hearts so we can hear each other and hear God.”

“And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2).
