Mohsina pours tea for his customers

Mohsina is a member of a SALT savings group in Bangladesh. Mohsina and her husband Abdus dreamed of someday owning a tea shop in Bangladesh. They discussed the challenges and benefits of running such an operation with other business owners. To have good business it was important to have a good location. They would also need tables and chairs and other equipment for their customers.

After developing a plan for their business, the SALT savings group approved a 20,000 BDT ($235 USD) loan for Abdus and Mohsina to help them start their business.

Abdus believes the key to success is hard work, so he keeps his shop open from dawn to dusk. Business is going well and they have a steady flow of customers. Thank you, supporters, for helping people like Abdus and Mohsina to find ways to provide for themselves.
