Help-for-the-Elderly

Elderly

Most elderly people in Eastern Europe rely on meager government pensions to provide for themselves. Their children are often too poor to give quality care to their parents, or they have moved away to find work.

To these lonely and often forgotten people, a parcel of nutritious food and the visit that accompanies the delivery are a great blessing. Not only does the gift provide something to eat, but it allows them to use their pension money for medications, firewood, or other important items.
