SALT Vocational Training
Providing vocational training in developing countries
SALT Vocational Schools provide youth, entrepreneurs, and savings group members with essential job skills. Our goal is to help them live productive lives.
“Most people in Uganda lack practical skills. What I’ve gotten from the school gives me hope.”
– Pius, a vocational school student from Uganda
How do SALT Vocational Schools function?
Students enroll in SALT vocational classes to learn useful and practical skills such as sewing, welding, computer training, and auto mechanic work. Utilizing these skills helps them work their way out of poverty and contribute to the needs of their communities. As they participate in these classes they are exposed daily to Bible-based teaching. This sets them on a life-long course of establishing godly values in their businesses and places of employment.
